Ulm Swing Connection
Ulm Swing Connection is the summer West Coast Swing event: three days of workshops on three floors, from beginner bootcamp to Level 4, with teachers from the international scene. In the evenings you dance at two parties with DJs from the scene, and on Sunday the weekend winds down at the practice café.

Workshops in Level 1/2, 3 and 4 with Tschen & Vanessa, Paolo, Joshua & Rachel and Melina & Lea – plus styling workshops for leaders and followers.

Partys & Practice Café
Two parties with DJs from the scene, cocktails and little gadgets – and on Sunday after the workshops the practice café with coffee and cake.

Tschen & Vanessa
West Coast Swing
We are delighted to welcome Tschen for the third time. His easy-going, funny manner lightens up every class, he impresses with his enormous expertise, and together with Vanessa he creates workshops that are great fun. Followers in particular get their money's worth with Vanessa: her smooth way of moving is a treat to watch, and her tips for followers are one of a kind.
Paolo Iannello
West Coast Swing · coach & judge
Born and raised in Bavaria, Paolo has been teaching in Regensburg since 2018 and helped shape the West Coast Swing scene there. His core strength is private coaching for individuals and couples, with a focus on movement and the dancer's mindset. Paolo is a dancer, teacher, coach and judge and sums up his style as “be grounded – be yourself”. He speaks German, English and a little Spanish.
Joshua & Rachel
West Coast Swing
Joshua's dancing is defined by precise technique, a mindful connection with his partner and an obvious joy in passing on his love of movement. Rachel brings many years of West Coast Swing experience, enriched by her background in Latin and rock 'n' roll. Born in Strasbourg, she has taught for many years and combines elegance, musicality and vibrant energy. Together they love to teach West Coast Swing as an open, social dance.
Melina & Lea
West Coast Swing
With more than ten years of teaching experience and a great passion for social dancing and connection, Melina stands for authentic, lively classes with heart. She loves creating unique dances together and getting people excited about dancing. For Lea, connection is at the heart of West Coast Swing. With a passion for connection, technique and expression, she teaches well-structured classes in a warm, appreciative atmosphere. Her aim is to turn clear technique into a lively dance dialogue so that her students dance with joy, quality and confidence. Both travel regularly to international events and have developed their own open approach to West Coast Swing from many different influences.

Dance into the night
Two parties on Friday and Saturday night with awesome DJs, cocktails, dancing and little gadgets that make the party unforgettable! On Sunday there is a practice café after the workshops.
