Terms and conditions

Preamble
By booking a ticket you accept the following terms and conditions. They apply to all tickets for the events “Ulm Swing Connection” and “Westiemas Swing · Latin · Line Dance” in Ulm (hereinafter “event”).
Organiser
The events are organised by Tanzstudio Hip-Twist GmbH. Any claims must always be made against the organiser. The events take place on the premises of Tanzstudio Hip-Twist GmbH in Ulm, Germany.
Bookings, cancellations and transfers
All ticket bookings – whether online or in person at the office of Tanzstudio Hip-Twist GmbH – are binding and cannot be transferred to other persons. When ordering online, the registration form must be filled in completely. Agreement to these terms is required before submitting. Final confirmation is given once payment has been received.
Payment
All ticket bookings must be paid within 10 days of the booking date by SEPA direct debit or PayPal. A ticket only becomes valid once it has been paid in full within this period. Any fees incurred for transfers from abroad are borne by the buyer.
Collection and use of tickets
All day and multi-day passes are issued exclusively at check-in on site – on presentation of the e-ticket sent by email (for tickets bought in advance) or against cash payment at the day and evening box office. Check-in is open during the workshop days at the times announced on this website in good time. As long as tickets are still available, they can also be bought on site.
The buyer is responsible for keeping the ticket safe – the organiser accepts no liability for lost tickets, and replacement tickets cannot be issued. Tickets must not be misused, copied or altered. By using the ticket, the holder also accepts the house rules of Tanzstudio Hip-Twist GmbH.
Full passes and day passes are issued as wristbands. On the relevant day, before attending a workshop, they must be fastened to the wrist so that they cannot be pulled over the hand, worn throughout the event and shown on request. A wristband that has been removed or cut loses its validity. Replacement wristbands cannot be issued.
Cancellation of the event, changes, refunds
Changes to the line-up or programme (teachers, workshops, etc.) are reserved. If the event is cancelled, tickets can be returned for a refund of the purchase price up to 60 days after the originally planned end of the event, via the channel through which they were purchased. In the event of cancellation, postponement or changes to the programme or line-up, no further costs (e.g. travel, hotel, advance booking or handling fees) will be reimbursed.
If only parts of the event (in particular the evening events) are cancelled due to official regulations or for economic reasons, the share of the fee paid that corresponds to the cancelled part will be refunded, e.g. the value of an evening ticket included in a day pass. The cancellation of individual parts does not entitle you to withdraw from the booking if the rest of the event takes place.
Liability
Participation in workshops, seminars and evening events is at your own risk. Participants are liable for any injuries or damage themselves. The organiser is only liable for damage caused by its vicarious agents in cases of intent or gross negligence. We cannot guarantee any particular learning outcome.
Data protection
You can find all information on data processing in our privacy policy. We only use the details from your booking to run the event and do not pass them on to third parties.
Photography, video recordings, copyright
Photos and videos are taken at the events. Photos and films of everyone present (participants, visitors, artists, etc.) or excerpts from them may be published and used for promotional and advertising purposes by Tanzstudio Hip-Twist GmbH (e.g. website, social media, flyers, press releases) – for the current event, the following years and other events of the dance studio. By registering, participants agree to the publication of these recordings free of charge.
Your own photos and videos are only permitted during the last five minutes of each workshop. In the event of an infringement, a fee of €200 will be charged; in this case the organiser may also demand any existing material without compensation. Repeated infringements may lead to exclusion from the event. All rights of use to photo and video material remain with Tanzstudio Hip-Twist GmbH or the previous rights holders.
Miscellaneous
Smoking is not permitted on the event premises.
